This talk is about answering the question, “Can sand dunes survive climate change?”. It looks at the problems we face on the coast, where communities are very fearful for the future. While at the same time the fragility of our natural environment is continually being highlighted as a major concern. The talk will shed some light on the natural processes of dunes, with an eye on how we might adapt to ensure we benefit from our wild dunes for a long time to come.
